Praesum Healthcare Facilities Honor Veterans Day and National Veteran and Military Families Month
For nearly a century, November has been dedicated to honoring our nation’s veterans, with November 11 marking Veterans Day as a special opportunity to recognize the profound sacrifices made by our military and their families.
Military families demonstrate resilience, strength, and courage as they navigate the challenges of service, often adapting to long periods of separation and significant lifestyle changes to support their loved ones.
In honor of National Veteran and Military Families Month, Praesum Healthcare has committed resources to support military families and children, along with educational resources for both civilian and military-focused mental health providers.
As a leading provider of residential treatment, Evolve Recovery Center offers comprehensive, medically supervised programs to veterans, helping them address mental health and substance use disorders and start a lasting journey towards a lifetime of recovery.
The month itself was first declared as Military Family Month in 1996. In recognition of this important topic, Praesum Healthcare has developed resources for military children and families, educators, and civilian and non-civilian mental health providers.
For many who’ve served our country to achieve optimal long-term recovery from substance use and mental health disorders, the full continuum of comprehensive care is recommended. Veterans can begin their journey to lasting recovery by exploring what resources and treatments the VA has to offer with important partner organizations such as Evolve Recovery Center Toms River

Accessing the VA System of Care
If mental health or substance use disorders are impacting the life of a veteran or their loved ones, now is the time to take the next step toward help.
Veterans often face limited access to treatment, and we encourage families to know where to seek support. Early intervention is essential for lasting recovery.
Veterans who have served in any military branch can access resources through the VA. With a referral from their local VA provider or Community Care Network (CCN) partner, veterans can connect with the support they need for recovery.
The VA works to ensure continuous access to treatment, and once a referral is received, we coordinate with the VA for ongoing care and support.
Specialized Veteran Programs at Evolve Recovery Center
ERC is honored to work closely with VA hospitals and clinics to provide a high standard of care. We partner with local VA facilities to offer coordinated support through the CCN and the 2023 Compact Act.
As a VA-approved CCN provider, Evolve Recovery Center ensures positive, effective outcomes in the community by providing transportation to and from our rehab facilities.
If mental health or substance use disorders are having a negative effect on your life or the life of a Veteran you care about, this is the time to please take the next step.
At Toms River, NJ, Orlando, FL and Millbury, MA locations, veterans can access specialized, in-residence therapy options, including group and individual counseling, trauma-informed care, and medication-assisted treatment.
